Department description:
Commercial Finance provides Asset-based lending which is an extremely flexible form of front-line finance that provides clients with an even greater availability of cash to help maximise working capital to achieve objectives, whilst minimising dilution of equity.


Job Purpose:
Based in Banbury and reporting to the Team Manager you will be completing On going verification of Debtor customer balance to ensure security of borrowing base and in the event of client loss recovery of outstanding funds in use.


Duties will include:
Establish collectability of debt in case of collect out and for funding purposes in case of debt verification.
Make appropriate decisions during the collections process & recommend courses of action.
Prioritise own workload and target the collections efforts effectively, meet daily and monthly procedures as agreed meeting targets and deadlines as directed, analyse, record and report progress.
Obtain, analyse and process accurate information / data for internal and external clients, ensuring decisions regarding collateral are made promptly.
Establish and Maintain a helpful and professional relationship with internal and external clients.
Deal with incoming communications from clients and understand the nature of the query/problem act or refer as appropriate.
Maintain a close relationship with 3rd parties to instigate and to progress legal actions where necessary.
Establish & maintain effective relationships with collateral teams and client management.

To apply you will need:
-experience working within an office administration environment, ideally within a Financial Services/Banking environment
- Excellent Oral & written communication skills
- Planning and organising skills
- Computer and keyboard skills
- Technical knowledge of processes and procedures
- ID&F Product knowledge

In return you can expect a highly competitive basic salary of £17,000 plus benefits
